Year 2... Better Late Than Never

Can you believe as of 4.08.13, I'd been in Utah for 2 years?? And I'm still not moving back to Seattle. :) sorry fam and friends. Haha...

Here's a lil recap...

Got rotated into the food court. Still suping. Smaller department. Fun team, new peeps, experienced peeps. Still crazy business at times. Challenging at times. Pretty good experience so far. Love it, most of the time. Haha...

Summer was hot. Nice and dry, for the most part.

Went to sugarhouse park for fourth of July. Hella peeps. Fireworks were ok. Nothing like Seattle's shows. :)

went go karting and ziplining at miller motorsports. Go karting is super fun. Excited to go this summer. Saw a superbike race there too. Pretty cool.

Went to the state fair.

Went to a real salt lake game.

Went to a salt lake bees game. Against the Tacoma rainiers. And didn't even know it. Lol.

Rode my road bike. Not as much as I shoulda and coulda. Haha.

Pushed a rice rocket through a turning lane on a busy a$$ street (state street/ highway 89 and 4500 south) during rush hour. Fun! Lol.

then made it up the street and tried to give that piece a jump. Battery wasn't the problem. Haha. It was the radiator or something rather.

Went to a bunch of concerts. :)

Had a rough, "I wanna move back to Seattle" moment when I heard about friends who had past. Bestie was ill. A friend had a stroke. Among other things. :( It really doesn't matter where I am though. Things happen for a reason. People will come in and outta my life. I'm truly blessed with great family and friends in Seattle, SLC, and all over the world. Just gotta cherish the moments I spend with them... :)

Went to Moab for the first time. Amazing place! Got a blog about that too. Read it. :)

It was a better year for snowboarding. The season may be over now. Sad! Still not the "greatest snow on earth" season yet but got some pretty awesome riding days in.

my bro visited. Taught him how to ride a lil. He rode five says straight and it was his first time ever. Gangsta! He was dyin'. Hahaha. Hella fun!

Taught Cherie how to ride. She'd never ridden before and has lived in Utah most her life. Wtf?! Locals. Haha. She picked it up super fast and is an addict now too. I must be an awesome teacher. Lol. She got spoiled learning in some pow. And she's a trooper. After hella soreness, several sprained body parts, bruises, a bunch of spills, she still kept going and was hella motivated to learn. Ride or die! Haha.

Also took her kiddies up for their first time. They hated and loved it. Haha. One's a natural. The other just wanted to go straight, hella fast, and bit it super cold. Ouch! She was not happy. They're awesome though! Such troopers like their madre! Excited they both wanna go up again next year! :)

Moved back to slc. Holladay air ee ay. My roomies rock! We have so much fun. :) Love it. Super close to lotsa places. Half hour to the cottonwood mountain resorts. Best part! :) a lil farther away from powder mountain but it's all good. Still my fave mountain and will def be going there often!

Went to a Utah jazz game.

Went to a color festival. Quite an experience...

Drivers still suck and shouldn't be on the road! Ever!

Only visited Seattle a couple times. Haha. The first year I went one too many times. Jk! I love and miss my fam and friends. It's always great seeing them. :)
